LEAWOOD, Kan. - A water main break in Leawood has shut off service to about eight buildings and closed a lane of traffic on College Boulevard.
Mandy Cawby, a spokeswoman for Water One, said the 12-inch main broke a little before 2 a.m. Wednesday near the intersection of College and Nall Avenue.
Cawby said the utility hopes to have water back in service by about 10 a.m.
Crews have closed one westbound lane of College while they work to repair the main.
