Resale shop helping victims of domestic violence

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - A resale shop in Overland Park has a very different name called: "Through our Children's Lives."

This not-for-profit helps men, women and children dealing with a domestic violence situation.

The shop is at 6709 West 75th Street in Overland Park.

They offer clothes and other items FREE of charge for those in abusive family situations.

It's not uncommon for victims of abuse to leave their homes with only the clothes on their back and no money.

The resale shop is also open to the public and accepts donations from the public.

The store hours are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
