OLATHE, Kan. - Johnson County Sheriff deputies are trying to locate the owners of a bronze deer statue they believe was recently stolen.
An email from the Sheriff’s office said deputies found the statue recently in Olathe, leading them to believe the deer was stolen from somewhere in the Kansas City area.
The stolen deer is awaiting its owners in a secured sheriff’s department lot.
Detectives believe the statue is worth between $5,000 and $15,000.
