DE SOTO, Kan. - Three people were injured, one of them seriously, in a two-vehicle crash in Johnson County, Kan., Tuesday morning.
The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department said the crash happened just after 7 a.m. in the westbound lanes of K-10 at Kill Creek Road in De Soto.
"K10 crash still active and please continue to avoid K10 and Kill Creek," the sheriff's department tweeted just before 7:35 p.m.
About an hour later, a sheriff’s dispatcher said the scene had been cleared and traffic was getting back to normal.
Two people had minor injuries, according to authorities. A fourth person refused medical treatment.
The cause of the crash was not immediately clear.
The Johnson County Sheriff's Department said in their tweet they were assisting the Kansas Highway Patrol with the investigation.
