Water main break closes Mission Road in Prairie Village

PRAIRIE VILLAGE, Kan. - A water main break has closed down both directions of Mission Road at 86th Street in Prairie Village, Kan.
Water One crews were called out to the scene around 1 p.m. Thursday. The road was still closed as of 5:30 p.m.
There have been a couple water main breaks on Thursday because the ground has started to harden up as a result of the cold weather, according to a Water One spokesperson. Customers can go to waterone.org to sign up for alerts.
