KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A man walking along Washington Boulevard near Big 11 Lake in Kansas City, Kan., called police after spotting a body floating in the water Friday morning.
The Wyandotte County Sheriff's Department said the man has been identified as 33-year-old David Ray Jackson, of Kansas City, Kan.
Authorities have ruled his death an accidental drowning. No foul play is suspected.
Police were able to identify Jackson by his wallet. His family, who lives in the area near the lake, has been notified.
