KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Firefighters battled a fire at a vacant house Thursday night in Kansas City, Kan.
The blaze broke out at the home near 10th Street and Lyons Avenue around 5:50 p.m. Fire department spokesperson Craig Duke said the flames spread to all the floors of the home and the roof. It took two hours to contain.
Fire officials are investigating what sparked the blaze, which caused an estimated $20,000 worth of damage. No one was injured in the fire.
