Man dead, boy hurt in Kansas City, Kan., motorcycle crash

KANSAS CITY, Kan - A man died and a child was injured Sunday night in a motorcycle crash in Kansas City, Kan.

It happened a little after 7:50 a .m. in the intersectin of 32nd and Parallel Parkway.

Arriving emergency crews found the driver of the motorcycle, an unidentified man in his 50s, dead from his injuries.

An 11-year-old boy was also riding on the motorcycle and sustatined non life-threatening injuries.

According to a statement from the Kansas City Kansas Police Department, the motorcycle was driving west on Parallel Parkway when a vehicle traveling eastbound turned left in front of the motorcycle.

The driver of the second vehicle was not injured, but remained on scene while authorities investigated.
