One dead in early morning shooting in Kansas City, Kan.

KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A man in his 20s was shot to death early Thursday morning in Kansas City, Kan.

Kansas City, Kansas police said the victim was a white man in his 20s. He was at a gathering in the 6100 block of South 63rd Street just after midnight when he was shot. Police were called to the scene around 12:19 a.m. They arrived at 12:30 and found the man dead.

Police said at least five others were at the house when the shooting happened. According to police, one person of interest was questioned while police were at the house.
