KANSAS CITY, Kan. - A pedestrian was hurt in a hit-and-run Thursday night in Kansas City, Kan.
The pedestrian was struck around 9:50 p.m. Thursday in the eastbound lanes of eastbound Interstate 70 at I-670.
Police said the person sustained life-threatening injuries.
Kansas City, Kan., police and the state highway patrol shut down the highway while they investigated the incident.
