KANSAS CITY, Kan. - Two middle schools in Kansas City, Kan., were evacuated because of phoned-in bomb threats, police said.
A KCK School District spokesman said separate calls came into Rosedale Middle School, 3600 Springfield, St., and Central Middle School, 925 Ivandale St., just after 11 a.m. saying there was a bomb in the buildings.
Students and staff were moved outside at both buildings while authorities search the premesis.
Authorities searched and cleared both buildings before allowing anyone back in.
