KANSAS CITY, Kan. - All classes Monday beginning after 3 p.m. have been canceled at Kansas City Kansas Community College because of a water main break, a college spokesman said.
The water main break happened Monday morning in front of the field house in a parking lot.
School officials shut the water off and sent everyone home at 3 p.m. so crews can make repairs.
Repair crews left the campus early Monday night and water has reportedly been turned back on in some buildings.
Campus officials encourage students to call the main college phone line at 913-334-1100 on Tuesday to check on the status of their classes.
