OLATHE, Kan. - An Olathe firefighter suffered minor injuries after fighting a vacant house fire Tuesday morning.
The fire was reported just after 4:30 a.m. at 221 S. Central.
Crews reported flames and smoke shooting from the garage area upon arrival.
Firefighters fought the blaze from both inside and outside the vacant house.
One firefighter suffered a non life-threatening back injury, and was expected to be transported.
The cause of the fire is not yet known. Officials also do not yet have a damage estimate.
