OLATHE, Kan. - An Olathe pool hall is trying to help a local teen reach his goal of representing the U.S. at the World Juniors 9-Ball Tournament.

Manny Perez, 14, has been playing pool since he was 10 years old.

He was invited to play in the championship in Germany starting Dec. 5. He wants to bring home the title to the United States -- something that's never been done before.

But he wasn't give much notice on the invitation, so he and his dad are trying to raise the remaining $4,000 they need to pay for the flight, hotel and passports.

There's a fundraiser being held for them all weekend at Shooters in Olathe. For more information, go to www.shootersolathe.com
