OP soccer complex to host national championship

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The country’s best youth soccer players will come to Overland Park next summer to battle for a national championship.
US Youth Soccer announced Thursday that the 2013 US Youth Soccer National Championship will be held at the Overland Park Soccer Complex from July 22 to July 28.
“Each year, more than 10,000 teams play in our national championship series as teams test their development and skill,” said US Youth Soccer president John Sutter.
Overland Park hosted previously hosted the tournament in 2010.
