OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - The top two intersections for traffic crashes in July through September in Overland Park held their position on top of the list for 2012, according to Police Chief John Douglass.
Douglass posted the list of the 10 most accident-prone intersections for the third quarter of 2012 Wednesday on his blog.
Interstate 435 and Quivira Road, with 81 accidents tops the list. The intersection had only 62 in the third quarter last year.
The number of crashes at Interstate 435 and Metcalf actually went down from 71 to 67, but was still high enough to place the intersection at No. 2 on the list for the second straight year.
