Prairie Village man shares story of breast cancer survival

OVERLAND PARK, Kan. - Two people in Johnson County, Kan., hope their stories of breast cancer survival don't go unnoticed.
Menorah Medical Center in Overland Park hosted its annual PINK party Tuesday night.
Tina Herold of Overland Park and Bret Miller of Prairie Village, were the guest speakers. They are part of Ford's "Models of Courage" national campaign.
Miller is one of the youngest men to be diagnosed with breast cancer.
"I felt chosen to spread my story. To let everyone know that men, it's possible. Women, it's possible even younger. Don't wait until that 40-year-old mammogram test that they tell you about. Check yourself," Miller said.
Women were also offered free bra fittings, pink hair extensions and body massages at the event.
