BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. - A tractor trailer carrying a load of coffee crashed into another truck Tuesday night, blocking Interstate 70 while crews worked to clear the scene.
Troopers were called out at about 7:30 p.m. to the westbound lanes of I-70 between Adams Dairy Parkway and Missouri Highway 7 in Blue Springs on a cross-over crash.
According to Missouri Highway Patrol reports, the eastbound vehicle crossed over the median and struck the westbound semi-truck. Troopers said one driver was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, while the other driver refused treatment at the scene.
Crews on site reported that one of the tractor trailer was carrying a load of coffee.
