CLAYCOMO, Mo. - Emergency crews responded to a fire at the Ford plant in Claycomo, Mo., Saturday afternoon.
The Clay County Sheriff’s department said they responded, along with the Kansas City and Claycomo fire departments.
Claycomo Fire Chief Ron Stewart said two employees were processing paint when some solvent exploded, injuring both of them. They were transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Employees put the fire out with portable extinguishers.
