INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Westbound Interstate 70 was closed just west of Noland Road in Independence, Mo., for about an hour Friday evening to a multi-vehicle wreck.
The crash happened around 9:15 p.m. Friday.
Three vehicles were involved in the wreck.
Three people were transported to a hospital, but the injuries are not life threatening.
Police closed the westbound lanes, but traffic was able to get by on the shoulder.
All lanes were reopened by 10:15 p.m.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
