INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - An Independence Dairy Queen is expected to be closed for at least the day after a small fire.
The fire started around 3:30 a.m. at the Dairy Queen at Brookside and Winner Road.
The owner of the restaurant told 41 Action News the fire started in and was contained to the attic.
Utilities were shut off to the business.
The cause of the fire was not immediately clear.
