INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Drivers along Interstate-70 saw something they don't see every day – a military helicopter on the side of the road.
The Missouri Army National Guard helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Independence, Mo., on Thursday after a mechanical problem during a routine training flight.
The attack helicopter is based at Whiteman Air Force Base in Knob Noster.
No one was injured.
