INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - Independence Police canceled a silver alert on Thursday for a 57-year-old man who was found at the V.A. Hospital. David L. Hess reportedly walked to the hospital and asked for a ride home.
Hess walked away from his home in the 1500 block of N. Spring between 4:30 and 5 a.m.
Police said he suffers from multiple medical conditions and is on several medications.
