KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Some sex abuse victims are demanding answers from the head of the diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph.
The Survivors Network of those Abused by Priests (SNAP) turned in a letter to the diocese headquarters.
The group is giving Bishop Finn 10 days to respond to a 2008 settlement agreement in sex abuse and cover-up lawsuits.
They are accusing him of ignoring their pledges to reform the diocese in the wake of the recent cases of Fr. Shawn Ratigan and Fr. Michael Tierney.
"If he doesn't respond, they'll have to consider whether or not to going forward with more legal action. But we're hopefull he'll respond," said SNAP member Abott Durocher.
SNAP is urging anyone who saw, suspected or suffered clergy sex crimes and cover ups to contact police, not church officials.
