KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Registration started Friday for residents who want to vote on a possible streetcar line in Kansas City, Mo.

This will be the second election on the streetcar issue. The first election was a vote on whether the city could move forward with the plan. It passed with a 69 percent majority.

This second measure asks voters to approve a 1 percent sales tax to help finance the $100 million project. The proposed streetcar line would run from the River Market to Crown Center.

Voters who participated in the first election have to reregister.
