UPDATE: Police say a missing Gladstone man who was the subject of a Silver Alert has been found safe. He was found at about 5:44 a.m., according to police in Gladstone. No other details were immediately available.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. - Police have issued a Silver Alert for a Gladstone man they say may be in danger.
Daryl Dodson, 78, was last seen at the Home Depot at 4704 E. Bannister Rd., in Kansas City, around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday.
Dodson, who has dementia and kidney disease, hasn't been seen since he told a friend he wanted to drive to Vermont, according to the Gladstone Police Department.
Authorities describe Dodson as a white male who is 5 feet, 10 inches and 170 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue button-down shirt, jeans, a blue windbreaker and white shoes.
