ODESSA, Mo. - City officials in Odessa, Mo., have lifted a precautionary boil order that was issued Saturday night.

According to a news release from the city, the boil order was issued because of concerns that a problem may exist in the distribution system following a water main break.

The break has been repaired and water samples have tested negative for contamination, according to city officials.

Odessa is 36 miles east of Kansas City, Mo.
