Kites hit the skies in festival at MCC Longview

LEE’S SUMMIT, Missouri - The kites of the Kansas City Kite Club take flight over the MCC-Longview campus in Lee’s Summit on Saturday.
Festival-goers are welcome to bring their own kites to fly or sit back and enjoy the show.
“Flights of Fancy” will feature kite making, an inflatable maze, face painting, a balloon artist and a candy drop.
The festival will also include attractions on green energy and wind power.
“Flights of Fancy happens Saturday, April 16, 10am to 5pm at MCC-Longview, 500 SW Longview Road in Lee’s Summit.
