LEE’S SUMMIT, Mo. - A boil water advisory in Lee’s Summit has been lifted, the city’s Water Utilities Department said Wednesday.
The advisory was issued Monday evening after a water main break cuased a drop in pressure in the Oaks ridge Meadows subdivision.
Residents in the area were asked to boil water before drinking or cooking.
Tests conducted in the two days since the advisory was issued have revealed the water meets safety requirements for public drinking.
The water advisory affected the following streets:
Anderson Drive, Plantation Lane, Moonlight Meadows, Maybrook, Misty Meadows, Hidden Meadow, N.E. Park Ridge Drive, Coral, Sapphire, Ruby, Turquoise, Pearl, Hidden Ridge Lane, Oaks Ridge Drive, Oaks Ridge Lane, Sunrise Meadows, Velie, Promised View, Northgate Crossing and Emerald.
