LAWSON, Mo. - A Clinton County, Mo., man died Tuesday night in a two-car collision just north of Lawson.
The crash happened around 8:40 p.m. at the intersection of PP Highway and U.S. 69 Highway.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 64-year-old John Dolt, of Lawson, was driving a 1995 Ford Ranger eastbound on PP when he ran a stop sign and was struck by a tractor trailer headed north on U.S. 69.
Dolt was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, according to the Patrol report.
The truck overturned and came to rest on its side in the southbound lane of U.S. 69, but the 54-year-old man driving was not seriously hurt, the Patrol reported.
