Police: One person killed in accidental shooting in Riverside

RIVERSIDE, Mo. - Police in Riverside say one person has died in an accidental shooting.
Officers were called about 8:30 p.m. Sunday to the 4800 block of Homestead Road on a report of a shooting.
The unidentified victim was taken to an area hospital and later pronounced dead.
“Police are still investigating the incident,” a statement from the Riverside Police Department said, “but believe at this time it was an accidental shooting.”
No other information was immediately available.
