PLATTE COUNTY, Mo. - The Platte County Sheriff’s Department is conducting a death investigation after a man found his wife in their pool early Wednesday.
Emergency crews called to the couple’s home in the 9800 block of NW Shaggy Bark Lane found the woman still in the pool.
She was rushed to an area hospital, where she was later pronounced dead.
The husband told police he noticed his wife wasn’t in bed around 3 a.m. and went looking for her.
A Platte County Sheriff’s Department spokesman said nothing in the early stages of the investigation point to anything suspicious.
