KANSAS CITY, Mo. - First lady Michelle Obama has inspired students in the Raytown School District to try to set a world record.
More than 2,500 students showed off their dance moves Saturday morning at Chipwood Stadium in hopes of breaking the Guinness world record for the most people in a school district doing a dance at the same time.
The event is part of the first lady's “Let's Move” initiative, which aims to get children off the couch and spend more time being active.
It will take several weeks before the district knows if they broke it.
