RAYMORE, Mo. - A snowbank prevented a school bus with dozens of students on board from completely flipping over Monday afternoon. Students were evacuated through the windows.
The bus was carrying about 30 students from Raymore-Peculiar East Middle School when it slid into a ditch near Missouri Highway 58 and Ward Road in Raymore. It fell against a deep snowbank, which kept the bus from totally flipping onto its side, according to the school district.
No students were hurt in the crash, and another bus was sent to take them home.
