KANSAS CITY, Mo. - A two alarm fire has prompted evacuations at a hospital in Kansas City, Mo.
The fire, which occurred in a small mechanical room, has spread heavy, black smoke throughout the halls of St. Joseph Medical Center, 1000 Carodelet Dr., according to Kansas City Fire Department Battalion Chief James Garrett.
The medical mall, which includes outpatient care facilities, the food court, pharmacy and doctor's offices, has been evacuated.
Authorities said no inpatient facilities will be evacuated.
No injuries have been reported.
