LAWRENCE, Kan. - Gentlemint.com is a social media website with a manly twist, whose growing popularity has taken its creators off guard.

Gentlemint is a social bookmarking site that one can go and share links with people that appreciate manly content. This may sound a lot like Pinterest.com however the creators says it's far from it.

“Pinterest has its own set of users and there is different type of content out there,” co-creator Glen Stansberry said.

“The thing with Pinterest whether intentional or not, a lot of the stuff is geared towards women,” said his partner in the project, Brian McKinny.

It all started in a small quiet North Lawrence home

“It is like a big scary monster and it is growing as we speak, it is bigger than I thought in just a few weeks,”McKinny said.

McKinny and Stansberry had created a giant.

“It seemed like a fun idea and we built it out in a day and been refining it ever since,” McKinny said.

What really made the website stand out was when it received praise from a couple major online publications, Mashable.com and Time.com

According to the co-founders, the wait list for Gentlemint is thousands and thousands of people deep. So you will be in for a wait if you want to join the latest internet craze.
