KANSAS CITY, Mo. - AT&T reported a wireless outage Thursday that left customers in the Kansas City area without wireless coverage for several hours.
An AT&T spokesperson said the coverage was restored before noon on Thursday.
The company released the following statement:
“Earlier today, some customers in Kansas and Western Missouri may have experienced issues with 3G wireless services. AT&T technicians quickly worked to resolve the issue, and service is currently running normally. We apologize for any inconvenience to our customers.”
Customers as far west as Wichita reported the outage on the AT&T Wireless user forums. It is unclear how far east the outage expands.
