Twitter CEO Dick Costolo revealed a new look coming to millions of Twitter profiles Tuesday morning on NBC’s ‘Today’ show.
The biggest change, according to Costolo, is a giant ‘header’ image that will grace the top of your profile page, similar to Facebook’s cover photo, which was introduced along with the polarizing Timeline feature.
The avatar will also be more prevalent, according to TodayShow.com.
Twitter users will have the choice to opt in to the new profile look for a while, just like Facebook allowed its users to transition to Timeline at their own pace, but it will eventually be rolled out to all profiles.
