EDWARDSVILLE, Kan. - Authorities have found a man in the Kansas River. They had been searching for the man, who went missing near the Interstate 435 bridge, since Saturday.
He was last seen on the banks about 100 yards from the sandbar where a Missouri Highway Patrol helicopter spotted him.
Authorities said the man was a Honduras native who was living in Kansas City, Kan., and worked doing manual labor. It was unclear why he was on the river bank, or how he got into the water.
