MISSION, Kan. - Four Kansas Driver Licensing offices will permanently be open Mondays, according to the Department of Revenue.
The change comes after nearly 30 years of licensing offices being opened Tuesday through Friday, and is the result of the success of two summer trials where Monday hours were offered.
The state chose to add Monday to the work schedule at the four busiest offices in the state, including the offices in Mission, Kan., and Olathe, Kan.
Representatives say the change will help cut down wait times and improve customer service.
