TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) - Kansas officials will be in England this week promoting the state's aviation industry.
Sen. Jerry Moran, Gov. Sam Brownback and Kansas Commerce Secretary Pat George will be discussing Kansas aviation at the Farnborough International Airshow near London.
Leaders of Wichita's Spirit AeroSystems, Hawker Beechcraft, Cessna Aircraft, Boeing, Airbus and Bombardier also will be there.
Brownback says the Kansas delegation is working to promote current companies and recruit more companies to Wichita.
The Wichita Eagle reports Wichita builds and delivers more than 40 percent of the world's general aviation airplanes.
