BUTLER COUNTY, Kan. - A missing 30-year-old El Dorado, Kan., woman was found dead Monday morning, believed to have died from exposure.

Beth Ann Noffsinger was with her fiancé in the area of US Highway 54 and SE Cattle Pen Road when she became disoriented and ran away from the car around 1 a.m. Monday, according to Butler County Sheriff’s deputies.

Authorities searched the area around the car throughout the night, eventually locating Noffsinger just before 7 a.m. in a field.

Sheriff’s deputies haven’t released an official cause of death, but noted Noffsinger had no signs of trauma and was not properly clothed for the conditions.
