LAWRENCE, Kan. - A state agency is investigating two former Lawrence police officers linked to a ticket fixing scandal.
Earlier this year, Sergeant Matt Sarna resigned from the department.
Sergeant Mike Monroe was terminated.
The two officers were accused of fixing speeding tickets in exchange for KU basketball tickets.
The Kansas Commission on Peace Officers' Standards and Training could take disciplinary action against them.
If the investigation finds any wrong doing, the officers licenses could be revoked.
This means they would be barred from working in Kan. law enforcement in the future.
