MIAMI COUNTY, Kan. - A 67-year-old Louisburg woman died Wednesday afternoon after she was struck from behind by a truck.

At about 3:45 p.m., Miami County Sheriff deputies were called out to Kansas Highway 68 one mile west of Louisburg, Kan. on an injury crash.

When they arrived, they located Glenda Beasley, 67, passed away inside her 2007 Ford Escape.

Investigators determined Beasley was stopped for a school bus letting children disembark when a Ford F-150 struck her from behind.

The driver of the truck was uninjured from the crash and remained on the scene cooperating with investigators.
