LEXINGTON, Mo - A trash truck overturned in a Missouri alley that overlooks a laundromat and landed on top of its roof Thursday morning.
Shortly after 9 a.m., a AAA trash truck driving down an alley near 14th & Main Street in Lexington went off the roadway and topped over onto a laundromat roof.
The truck also hit an Empire District gas line, which caused authorities to evacuate a one block area until crews could shut the gas off.
The laundromat was the only customer to lose gas service.
No serious injuries were reported, but the truck driver was transported to a hospital as a precaution.
The crash also knocked a hole in the laundromat roof, but the total extent of damages is not yet known.
