WARSAW, Mo. - Authorities in central Missouri are still searching for the second of two suspected drowning victims in Truman Lake.
The two men disappeared in the west-central Missouri lake during a fishing trip early Thursday morning.
The Highway Patrol's Water Patrol Division recovered the body of Michael Bryan, of Wheatland, Mo., Thursday afternoon.
Officials spent much of the day Thursday looking for the second male victim, who Highway Patrol says is Bryan’s son-in-law, using a highway patrol airplane to search in the Berry Bend campground area, about nine miles southwest of Warsaw.
Searchers with the Highway Patrol's Marine Operations Division launched a second day of searching Friday, again using dive and air crews to try to find the second man’s body.
