JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - Missouri Gov. Jay Nixon says The Boeing Co. plans to open an information technology center in St. Louis County that's expected to create at least 400 jobs.
Nixon made the announcement Monday from France, one of the countries he's visiting in a weeklong European trade mission.
Boeing has about 15,000 employees at the St. Louis County campus. Nixon's office says the expansion could qualify the aerospace company for up to $7 million worth of incentives over the next five years through the Missouri Quality Jobs program.
Nixon left on the European trip Friday and is scheduled to return to the U.S. on Saturday.
