A full coal train derailed in Rushville, Mo., late Saturday night. No one was injured in the accident.
Burlington Northern said the train derailed at 11:10 p.m. at 116 Highway and 59 Highway. There were 134 cars and 2 locomotives on the train, and nine cars derailed.
Authorities said the train was headed southeast from Rushville toward Kansas City, Mo. Burlington Northern is investigating the cause of the accident.
