KANSAS CITY, Mo. - People in Cass County, Mo., have the chance to make their criminal and traffic warrants go away.
Beginning Monday, the county is holding a week-long amnesty program.
The goal is to reduce the number of people who have warrants out for their arrest. The Sheriff's office says nearly 3,500 have been issued.
To take advantage of the program, visit the Cass County Justice Center, 2501 West Mechanic St., in Harrisonville, Mo., between 8:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m.
Some criminal cases will also be part of the amnesty program.
The program ends June 22.
