Loved ones hope the power of social media might lead to tips on a missing airman.
A Facebook page, 'Help Find Airman Clinton Reeves,' has been created to aid the search.
It shows recent pictures of Raytown High school graduate Clinton Reeves, as well as personal stories and a plea for any information on his whereabouts.
Reeves disappeared from his base in Alaska, April 19.
He was last heard from on April 22.
The family got help Friday from James Koenig, whose 18-year-old daughter was abducted and killed just a couple months ago in Anchorage.
Koenig and a team of volunteers created the Facebook page. He told KTUU it's his way to help another family and give back to the community.
“I’m passing on everything that we have learned and all the connections that we have in town,” Koenig said. “There’s no book on how to do this stuff."
“I think it’s great he’s reaching out to me. I’m a stranger to him,” said Judy Davis, Reeves’ mom. “He’s coming to help me because he knows what I’m feeling, so I’m very thankful.”
Police found Reeves' rental car unlocked with his uniform, groceries and other personal belongings inside.
A reward fund was started Friday for information leading to Reeves' recovery. There will be an additional $1,000 cash reward for tips that lead to the arrest of a felony crime suspect.
